Went JB with Elise and gang on Saturday! It was pretty enjoyable.. We had great food that are pretty cheap and of course.. I had happy camwhoring + random singing sessions with Elise! HAHA!

Color Therapy

Since last night.. I was feeling kinda depressed that I need to work today!

Set my alarm at 7.20am and my stubbon butt refused to leave my bed until 7.45am! >.<

Normally I would have wore black, black or black clothes. Especially on a Monday. Black's so convenient! Easy to match with ANYthing and IT MAKES ME LOOK SLIMMER!!

Wahaha!

But as tomorrow's National Day, our dress code for today is RED.. Eh, I didn't have a red top that's appropriate for office.. So I wore PINK instead. Heh! Ok lah, Ms Red and Ms Pink are "sisters" mah! Heehee!

Surprisingly, THE DAY IS AWESOME SO FAR! I dunno why.. Is it because of color therapy? Haha! Maybe I SHOULD start wearing more bright colors than dull ones! :3

The Devil exists..

We have watched shows in which ppl traded their souls with the Devil or Devil's agents in return for smth they desired..

In real life, there's no horned monster in suit to offer us a contract.. v(‵▽′)ψ But that doesn't mean the Devil doesn't exist.

I "gave birth" to 1 when I was really, really angry. (Shall not elaborate what happened.) Since then, I was fuelled with the guts (and my soft heart was chained) to unleash my fury.. And honestly I'm glad I did those stuff.. Up to this! Weeeeee~ :D

(Sometimes I think it's karma. But why do I have to be the one executing the punishments??)

But of course, in return for that.. I had to make sacrifices. They are not written in black and white but some examples would be:

- Dull complexion (Being angry and bitter really harms the skin!)
- Lifeless eyes (The only times they were alive were when I was angry max.. Haha!)
- Repelling ppl (Ppl actually commented that they are afraid to call me because I sounded angry! Opps!)
- Giving ppl the chance to spin outrageous tales about me! (BIG mistake! You wanna say I'm bad, I'll SHOW you how bad I can be! *SMILES*)

Trying to tame Mr Devil now. He is capable of even more crazy stuff that will really hurt A LOT and I can afford to pay the consequences! (Bring it on! *Rawrs*) But I know I shouldn't.

But I guess.. No harm being A LITTLE mischievous ya? xD

Praying for God to take away my hatred, bitterness and anger everyday.. And may He bless everyone.. Even those who hurt me and still enjoy hurting me. :)

Slowly regaining the sweet and silly side of me.. 加油加油! :D

Was playing mahjong with my friends (from MY world) and they were amazed and commented that my character was so nice.

I was surprised. Haven't heard ppl saying nice things about me for ages.

All I did was being game enuff to pay up after being tio bao by the winner. 怕输钱就别赌啦! 几十块钱能让朋友开心.. 值得! 大家高兴就好! (Why do I get the feeling that ppl's gonna jio me out for mahjong after reading this?? LMAO! Anyway later I got 自摸满贯! Woots! And they gamely paid up without any complaints too! We all have good 牌品 ok! xD)

Back to the topic..

That simple comment reminds me of how popular I used to be. (Hee, sorry to be bhb lah!) Did a quick reflection, I've become so moody and negative.. Of course ppl don't like to hang out with me! (Thanks to those who stick by me all these while! :D)

Amazingly, I was half an hour earlier!

(And ya, I was still feeling a bit slpy.. *Semi-opened eyes*)

Finally it was time for the workshop to start!

Ok, next we do the Cookies 'n' Cream ice cream!

When it was time for us to get hands-on, I repeated what the teacher just said and Elise exclaimed, "WOW! I thought you weren't paying attn!"

My yaya reply was.. "Wa Ai zai ok!" HAHAHAHA~ :D

Just before we left.. We wanted to see our Milo ice cream! Aye, the freezer wasn't working well so our ice cream didn't have time to freeze properly!

Went for the Ice Cream Making Workshop with the girls yesterday!

Wanted to blog about it last night but I was too engrossed with my reading! In fact, I couldn't wait until I got home.. Already starting reading (from my iPad2) when I was on the bus! 1 of the rare, enjoyable bus rides I ever had! Time really flew by while I was reading.. 45 mins didn't seem so long at long! :D

WOOTS! I FREAKING LOVE TO READ..!!

(Yeah, I've been a bookworm all my life!)

In fact I haven't been blogging these days because I spent practically all my spare time nuahing in bed, reading from my iPad2! Thanks to the app that I discovered recently.. *Wattpad!

*Wattpad = iPad2 app that allows me to read stories that are submitted by others (AND YES, IT'S FREE!)

Maybe I'll submit a story one of these days too.. Who knows? ;)

Dar came over from work to fetch me to his house.. ♥

When I entered his room, I saw this!

And he said it's for me!

WOW! A surprise gift! ♥♥

Guess what is it?

It's a LV leather bracelet.. Honestly I wasn't too happy about it at 1st.. (Aiyo! So ex! Heartache wor!)

..until I realised Dar bought 1 for himself too!

So it means they're a pair of couple leather bracelets! ♥♥

Weeeeee~ :D

We were jokingly saying that Cookie can use it as her dog collar.. And Dar asked me to let Cookie wear and then take photo to show him!

..Which I did!

Nice on her too leh! Haha!

And Dar bought a pair of couple rings for us too! (Forgot to take a photo of them before I sent them for engraving services.. *Slaps forehead*)

Went back to the shop for engraving services and the lady showed me 2 designs!

Guess which design did we pick?

Mentioned to Dar that I wanna get a T&C necklace.. And so the next day, we went to Takashimaya!

On our way there, we saw some 'celebrities'! LOL!

Went to the T&C.. The actual necklace that I was eyeing wasn't as nice as the picture. Like the locket one which costs $300+! Dar wanted to buy that for me but I declined..

$300+ for a SILVER necklace!? Ya, it's T&C but it will tanish! And I can get a WHITE GOLD necklace with DIAMOND at that price lor! (Auntie Prissy me.. I know! Haha! Dar also buay tahan me.. ;p)

Dar wanted to take a look at the money clip.. So we went to LV~

Hence.. I guess that's prolly why he set that as his status! :)

ONE Tyco CSR Event at the Melrose Home - 16 June 2011

The Notice Board & Wall Team

Was sick so I stayed in the Home instead of joining the other team to bring the kids out to the Science.. Boohoohoo!

Thought doing notice boards would be an easy task.. HOW WRONG I WAS!

Freaking warm until we were all sweating like mad even though we were under sheltered areas!

Was wondering what Jason & gang were going to do with such a thick rope..

And then I wondered what was Jason spraying..

What! Glue also got spray one de??

WOW!!

Saw this! (Not sure whose de.. Lol!)

Wah seh! Scotch tape also has 'green' one de lor!

Ooh.. The rope was meant for..

(Not just them.. The others, be it guys or girls looked extra charming too! :D)

Painting painting~

I helped them to paint some of the white portions too!

That rope alone needed a lot of efforts. It was so thick! Very hard to absorb color and cut!

Initially everyone in the team didn't have much confidence. So Lynn got a vendor to come in to draw and give instructions to the rest so that they know where to paint.

As the team painted more and more, they got increasingly confident (in their painting)! In fact, we prepared stickers of animals as the backup plan but in the end the team was confident enough to paint the animals lor! (But of course, we needed the expert to draw out the animals for them to paint lah! Still, GREAT JOB!)

The Storeroom Team

Another tough job! The amount of stuff in the storerooms was SO MUCH!! (You'll know what I mean when you watch the video clip.. @.@)

The Gardening Team

Personally I'm VERY impressed! 3 words to describe them: Siii Beiii Onzzz!! (Oh wait, sibei should be considered 1 or 2 words?)

Unlike the rest of us, they had absolutely NO WAY of avoiding the freaking hot sun! Yet they toiled for the whole day.. Not only did they sweat until their whole t-shirts were totally drenched with perspiration, they even got dirty and muddy! I saw them scrubbing and scrubbing tons and tons of bricks!

They even picked up trash nearby and cleaned drains even though those are not really considered gardening! *Salutes*

(You'll know what I mean when you see the video clip.. But still, the sun was wayy hotter than it seems in the video clip!)

Went to the pantry to get water when a colleague casually asked how I'm feeling. Told him that I'm still sick.. *Sad face* And I sianz sianz de walked back to my desk.. Didn't feel like talking much, especially with my sore throat and cough. (Being sick for so long is depressing!) *Sulks!*

Just got back to my seat and saw this email:

Do you need Redoxon (Vitamin C Effervescent tablets)?
Cuz I happen to take one tablet each morning."

I replied to say no and then..

During lunch, we decided to support the GCC 2011 by walking out to.. SERANGOON GARDEN HAWKER CENTRE! (It's like 15 mins away from our office!)

Thanks to Mr HOT HOT Sun, we were sweating like mad!! And unity is strength! Somehow, it wasn't that unpleasant when we were walking together! And before we knew it, we reached already! :)

Went back to tell him the bad news.. So we ended up going out again to search for the Legendary Lighter! (LOL!) Finally we found a shop selling it at a stall outside the hotel.. -.-

And then PuiPui asked if I wanna try the seafood (since we had nothing to do anyway)!

But eh.. Still.. NO I'M NOT GONNA ORDER THAT AGAIN! Bleahz!

That's a nice surprise! This new feature enables me to touch the icons on display to quick launch options and applications. COOL! My niece is so fascinated! She simply loves to scroll through the icons!

However, it would be even better if the touch pancel can be more responsive.

Generally, this is a pretty good point-and-shoot camera! It makes photography so fun and easy! Even my 3-year-old niece knows how to use the basic functions! But the downside is, whenever she sees the camera, she wants to play with it and refuse to return it to me! LOL!

It's been a long while since I attended a class! 1.5 days! Gosh!

Well, apparently I wasn't paying much attention!

But well.. 1stly I'd attended this class before (but in another company) and 2ndly, this class is for beginners.. I'm at least of Advanced level already ok! *AHEMS* Hey, I've 2 years plus of experience as a Workplace Health Promoter.. Don't play play hor! xD

In fact.. My Proudest Day as a WPH Promoter (Ok, it's many years back but I don't care! I wanna haolian this again! LOL!)

So why the heck was I doing in that class??

Eh.. I had to represent my current company to get the WHP cert in order to be eligible for this $10k grant from the government for my current company.. So that's why I had to show face there lah!

And gosh! The trainer knows me! She's from my vendor company (in my previous company) lor! LOL! Luckily she nvr arrow me to answer questions! xD

Finally the whole workshop ended! Weeeeee~

Last Sunday, I accompanied Mamalove to attend my cousin's wedding in Malaysia..

It's been a long while since I last went out with her!

Almost forgot that she LOVES taking photos..

I wanted to take photo of the bridal car and she happily posed for me~

I never understand why do the newlyweds have to cut the cake?? Nvr distribute the cakes to us after cutting also lor! So far I think I only got to eat the wedding cake ONCE. (Oh! And same goes for the champagne! Pour liao then no one gets to drink it??)

Next time at my wedding..
(1) I don't want this kind of multi-layer cakes (only the top layer is real lor! Duh!)
(2) My guests will actually get a slice of the cake!
(3) I gonna look absolutely gorgeous TTM and my groom's gonna be the happiest man.

Opps! Point 3 is not related to wedding cakes at all. LOL!

After all the bitching and bashing.. Wayang here and wayang there..

..FINALLY TODAY IS POLLING DAY!!

Had my dilemmas. I read, I listen, I think.. And I voted. PHEW! 1 heavy load off my mind. :)

Walking to Teck Ghee CC for voting is like walking down memory lane for me.

For a moment, I forgot how to go there! Gosh! I used to go here quite often. My dad used to be the Treasurer of the RC. Vaguely remember that we went to look for my dad.. Went there to take the coach to attend the National Day EVERY year.. And later my youngest sis was studying in a kindergarden there so I always went to fetch her home.

It's been many, many years since I last went there. At least 10 years? Many things has changed. Didn't explore around. But on my way out, I noticed several vending machines and the environment seems prettier than I remember.

Walking home.. I noticed there were many sheltered paths. (Heh, I noticed that because the weather was freaking HOT! Thanks to them, I managed to 'siam' most of the scorching sun rays.)

Somehow.. I feel that I made the right choice. It feels right. And that's good enough for me.

Lunch was super today.. Because we had the Makansutra Game!

Boarded the company bus and..

Alan jokingly said he don't have 5-cents coins.. But he has many $50 notes! Oh wait, I think he wasn't joking.. LOL!

Okie! Next question.. Name 7 James Bond movies. Eh, I only knew one. (I think I only watched 2 or 3 James Bond movie before?? -.-) After racking our brains, we finally came out with 7! Phew!

Alan was so funny lah! He jokingly said, "Oh I called James Bond to ask him for the answer!" LMAO!

But we only got 1/2 mark for this. (It's more than 5 triangles liao!)

Alan got an idea!

He's so funny lor! He exclaimed, "ALAMAK!" when the gamemaster declared his answer was wrong! HAHA! So cute lah!

After a long while.. With a little hint.. The 3rd puzzle was SOLVED!

OMGOMG! By ME.. AGAIN! Wah seh! I didn't know I'm so 厉害 lor!!

Tip: Use the aluminium foil~

And if you wrap it up, the meat will be more evenly cooked! Another plus point is, the juice (or whatever you call it?) will not be lost! Which means the meat will be more tender and the outside won't be dry! Because it's not exposed to the flames directly~ ^.^y

But it'll take a longer time to cook though! (Especially since the fire wasn't strong.. =.= )

Anyway, my appointment was at 7.45pm but I was the last instead. I think they put me last because I was only there to follow up on the progress of my braces! Suxs big time lor! But bobian!! Still have to endure for a few more sessions! Can't wait to remove my braces!!

Argh! My complexion's getting dull again!

Was introduced to all the staff stationed at this building.. Must have shook hands with at least 50+ people?! Lost count! 1st time that I shook hands with sooo many people in 1 day!
